I've entered the result, but it still needs to be confirmed by mausns, who is not on line anymore. (The game logs are on biskai, if someone else wants to confirm them).

The instructions aren't very clear on what puppetname I should give the commands to, but Lammkeule helped me with that already.

EDIT: mausns has confirmed the results. (Due to my confusion, the first game is listed as a 4-0 win instead of a 3-0 win, but that shouldn't matter too much).

What /option should be used to report results in these tournaments?
Where should results be reported if you didn't use the /option?

I like the proposal a lot. Definitely go with 7 games rather than 5, though - with just 5 games, it would be too easy for weak teams to just pick a lot of heavily luck-based games.

For avoiding draws, I strongly prefer option A: replay tied games until there is a winner.

I'd keep city liga rules the way they are, since ties aren't a problem there.

Thanks for all the work you've put into BSW over the years. However, I liked the old manager better than the new one. The colors on the new /manager make it much harder to read. If you could at least change the colors back, it would be much better.

I wasn't in the game, but some people from EnglishTown had a 10 second loss. The game started with lots of black cubes on the board, and there was an epidemic on the first turn.

carcassonnius (lvl 3, ARMfeld) logged off on me 2/3 of the way through a CCJuS game which he was losing by a wide margin. It's been well over 10 minutes and he hasn't logged back on.

Ah, okay, good. I was looking at the city liga's pokal puppetlog, but apparently that doesn't get updated immediately when the game is played.

I'm pretty sure the puppet isn't recording everything. It didn't record my Yinsh game (and yes, I did win it, so you can take off the question marks on the result page).

I'd like to thank the players of Formosa for their sportsmanship, particularly in making the efforts to get the tiebreaker Tichu match played after finding out that our Tichu team would have a hard time being available after April 4, even though we hadn't yet played our Yinsh game. Our match was very close and hard fought, maybe next year will be your turn to win again.

Our player says the option result was turned on, but the match was interrupted by the nightly reboot so the puppet didn't record it.

No games have been recorded for the city cup in the past four days. Is there a problem with /option result reporting, or have people just not been playing?

We have a possible rules issue that came up in a city cup match.

The rules (section 3.4) say that the starting position is always random. In TuT, I believe we've traditionally played so that the player who starts in game 1 will go second in game 2, and if a third game is necessary then the start will be random for that. However, I don't find anything in the rules about using /option start in the second game.

Since the consensus seems to be that the starting player has a bit of a disadvantage in TuT, do we want to change the rules to make each player start one of the first two games?

Just something for you to consider.
