After careful consideration, I'm going to give the trainer job to Morrighain, who has been helping newcomers learn the game all along.  

She speaks English, German and several other languages.

I also understand from the posts that Hanno hasn't been around too much recently due to other obligations (he still hasn't finished his games from the TA 2-er tourney).

FYI,

I have 2953 opponents, and the most plays I have against any one is 71, less than 3%.  So 33% is not unreasonable.  I might even drop it lower to 20%.

I'd also like to point out that Erasmus played mostly 2-ers against Lulatsch, but played fewer games and had a lower winning percentage.

He has only 303 opponents in 225 games, over half (130) the games against Lulatsch.

Yes, it is very easy to maintain a high win percentage against weaker players, as the 2-er tournamnt has demonstrated.  But one shouldn't continue to beat up on the same person repeatedly.

I never have a problem finding or starting a TA game, and usually get 5 or 6 people.  The 2 or 3 person games are rare.

I would amend the medal requirements to no more than 33% of your games as 2-ers, and of those no more than 50% against the same person.

Could you please post somewhere a list of the people/towns who have been denied medals?

TA is more popular now, and the Guild is currently getting 2500 taler a week.

I shall change the Lottery policy if and when I am Guildmaster, probably to 3000 taler one a month.  I don't think 600 taler gets more people to play, but 3000 will.  We'll see when we try it.

It is possible to play 162 games in a month (I've done it the last three months).

However, we should not encourage lopsided 2-er marathans to win a medal.  A medal should be won by playing many people, not just one.

Shame on Mokkel and Lumpy.

P.S. Be it noted that I placed 2nd after Mokkel, but this does not influence what I am saying.  This should be a standard policy for the TA medal.

I vote no as well.

Guilds get much less money than towns, and we should not give money to every new town, only Hanse towns that deserve it.
