In my room (C10-210), I placed Funkenschlag. Today, I tried to start a game there. I couldn't. 3 players had left my room uncleaned with a game that had yet to be finished. So none of these players where in the room. It was empty, except me.

So I tried /reset, but got a 'Daaaaas isss BUG' message. I figured I might try /join and then /masterreset, but that didn't work either. I could not join, and therefor I couldn't use /masterreset either.

What to do?

Passiert manchmal. Bis jetzt habe ich noch nichts entdecken können wem es trift. Fenstergröße? Eine bestimmte Kombination von Städten? Keine Ahnung...

Hier habe ich einen Screenshot. Leider war ich da nicht derjenige der unter dem Bug leidete, und ich habe vergessen zu Fragen welche Städte der Spieler hatte. Er (sie?) hatte aber die Fenstergröße ganz maximalisiert.

dann kann ich ja endlich wieder /delete mute * machen und
bekomme endlich wieder das wichtigste mit.

Das war auch mein erster Gedanke

das niederländische set ist schon da, die ersten bugs wurden auch korrigiert. soweit ich weiss, funktioniert es also jetzt.
setz dich mal mit Morrighain zusammen, die das öfter spielt.. falls du nicht schon deine eigenen NL-connections hier hast

Es gibt übrigens mehrere Spieler aus den Niederlanden und Belgien die gerne Attribut spielen: CyberFive, stefke, DirkNL, jacobs_ladder, Bailleul, Defdamesdompi und so noch 3 oder 4 mehr, soweit ich weiss.

When I've had this problem, I've noticed that if you hold down the left mouse button, you can type in the thema box as long as the button is held down.

lilie already mentioned this, a few posts up, in German. The cause seems to be located, and the problem will be fixed.

Heute wurde der Holländischer set für Attribut released. Scheint aber buggy zu sein. Die Karten erscheinen nicht, und ich kriege diese Meldung wenn ich irgendwelche Kommandos zum Spiel versuche:

"-- Daaaaaaaass isss BUG: Hope u stay online."

some of you may have bumped into me already, mainly in the Meuterer rooms I would like to join ET, and I was told to /tell Nikita. But he/she has not been online yet, and the 1st of May is drawing nearer. Should I send an e-mail?

I was thinking of what I could contribute to the ET community. I came up with the offer to translate some 'Erklärpuppets'. An english native speaker would have to go through the translation though, to correct grammatical errors, since english is not my native language. I am Dutch, and I grew up at the German border. German is my second language, and I understand it perfectly well, but I haven't spoken German in about 15 years. So it takes a lot of energy to speak German again. Plus I use an american keyboard, which makes it difficult to type the special characters. All reasons why I would like to join an english speaking community.

About the 'Erklärpuppets'... The literal translation would be 'Explainpuppets'. I don't know if you are aware of these nifty little things, but you can start them in a game room, and they will explain the game. All you have to do is type 'a', wait for the lines, type 'b', wait for the lines, etc. I am quite new to BSW and my rank is not high enough to use/try them, but I've seen the source code, and it looks good!

So, apart from playing in the ET rooms, I could also offer to contact the code writers and ask them permission to translate some of these Erklärpuppets (and translate them), if there's an interest in these little things.

Will you take me?
