Window 7 problem - client freezes

Since I change Vista with W7,
using the client, with the Java 6.20,
I'm able to open the client, to select a game and join.
But when I start to play the game freezes.

I'm not able to continue, to choose an action
and also I'm not able to use the chat...

But if I want only to whatch a game, no problems...

I tryed also to add in the .prop file as suggested in some post:
System.sun.java2d.noddraw = true

Can you help me?

Well my first question is, why did you just update to 6_20 and not 6_24 as it is current state of the Java VM?

2nd one did you try and use the error console of Java so we can talk about the real problem? if so it would be nice to post the errors.

3rd what Kind of PC do you use? maybe a netbook? is ist 32bit or 64bit, did you check your CPU and Ram load?

The version installed is 6_24.

My PC is an Acer Aspire 5610 notebook at 32 bit.

I will try the console Java to post the error.

Using Java console, here the message when I tried to move in STONE AGE

does the whole client freeze, including the chat, tools, ... or can you go back to the manager?

Is it the same in all games or only StoneAge?

It happens in all the games, tool and chat.
I'm not able to go back to the manager.
It's the same also if I try to play with the browser (Chrome or IE)...

Ahoi,

that sounds like a so called deadlock, whitch is very hard to locate.

First I would try to update Java to 1.6.0_24 and maybe the sound and the graphicsdriver.

I'll try to install linux.

In the meantime I bought a Mac, but I'm not able to download the client...

I'm so sad!
