Hallo zusammen. Smiley

I played a Carcassonne game today, with the King expansion and I believe it doesn't calculate correctly the score for all completed roads. Situation:

- I got the Robber Knight in the game, by completing the longest road.
- At end-game, I received 14 points for every completed road.
- However, I could only count 13 roads in the game.

Here's a screenshot: (completed roads marked with a yellow brush)

Expansions:
- Fluss
- König

Am I missing the 14th completed road, or is it a bug?
Thanks.

PS: there's also a typo in the English text: it states "<name> scores <X> points for all completd roads" --> completed

Hello again,

Here's also another bug (?) that I observed today. In the following screenshot there are 3 farms:

1) Red farm: red player has majority (3 red meeples vs 2 yellow meeples).
2) Yellow farm: yellow player has majority (1 yellow meeple)
3) Pink farm: yellow player has majority (1 yellow meeple)

So, the yellow player scores from the yellow and pink farms only. The game states that yellow wins 6 points for farmers.
However, this is wrong, according to the "new" (3rd edition) rules, which we are currently using, because:

a) The pink farm boarders 1 closed city, city (1) --> 3 points.
b) The yellow farm boarders 2 closed cities, cities (1) and (2) --> 6 points.

Total: 9 points. However the yellow player wins 6 points. I believe that the big city (1) is not counted twice, as it should, since it boarders two separate farms.

In the complete annotated rules, p. 14, it's clearly stated:
Zitat
If a city borders more than one farm, the owner(s) of each farm score(s) 3 points for the city.

Here's the screenshot:

Options:
- Drache
- König

PS: it also states "(02:58:47) -- Picon as Robber Knight of the game scores 14 points for all completed roads." and indeed here I count 14 completed roads.

However, this is wrong, according to the "new" (3rd edition) rules, which we are currently using, because:

Who is this "we" you are talking about?

From the BSW rules:
" Note: the publisher has changed this rules a few times, especially the farmer rules. Bearing this in mind, BSW implemented the original rules as option "old" (see options below). However, not all changes of the rules could be taken into account, so the rules described here apply - even if there are other rules published in the meantime that differ. "

The BSW implemented the 2nd edition rules as default, which were the official ones at the time of the implementation. The 1st edition rules are implemented as "option old". The BSW doesn't implement the 3rd edition rules, nor the changes to the 3rd edition rules that were introduced in various Big Box editions (and different between the german and english versions).

Moin!

"we" = BSW. I was under the impression that BSW had the 3rd edition rule for scoring farms and that the option "old" (which is not available, as I've seen) uses the 1st edition rule. Now I've also seen it on the online rules: "However, each city can only be counted once for a player."

Doesn't make much sense to me to count each city once, but if that's what we've got, then fine. Smiley
Thanks for the clarification.

To your first problem: Maybe this situation (see following picture) is counted as 2 roads:

Just an assumption, I don't know Smiley
