In the last day or so, several people have been asking if ET can support the number of people in town, with our level of resources.  Thus, I thought it would be a good time to provide a summary of what we produce and how that relates to number of citizens we can support.

For those of you that don't know are the details, we are required to provide 50 food per citizen per month and 5-20 cloth (based upon the person's level).  On average, we have needed slightly less than 10 cloth per person, this could change as people increase levels, but decreases as new lower level people join.  Cloth is made from wool, 3 wool produce one cloth. Counting 10 clothes per person this together with the food makes 80 resources per person.

Based on 05.02 production we made 5 resources per person. During a period of 30 days that is 150 resources per member. (Weekends are usually better than week days).
(06.02 production was close to 147 resourses higher).

A lot of the resources produced are not food and wool of course. And that is where trading come in. shlimazl and Nikita monitor the market almost 24/7 when needed so we can make the best deals.
By buying at the market and trading directly with other hanse towns we manage to get what we need.

With our play requirement of 11 hours of game play each month all our members should be able to generate the resourses needed to feed and cloth themself (as we get more game rooms and more ARMfelders play in town this requirement might be lowered. We are working on making new statistics for that now). In other words: In regard to resourses we can accept a lot more new members. The question is: How many members do we want to have in town? Do we feel it is getting to crowded in here?
In regard to actual space for landgraf houses that should be no problem as we have been told that we should be able to expand town even more if needed.

When the monthly taxes were deducted last month there happened an error and all the food we had been saving up disappeared. This food we have been promised to get back. And when that happen we will not have and food concerns for a long long time.

Basically with the low food price that exists today, situation is very good for us.

When it comes to wool estimates show that we should produce what we need for this month.

We have very good tools to monitor the situation, and to make estimates for the future. If you have any specific questions about the resource situation, ask Nikita, TheBoomer or shlimazl.

Basically, relax, don't worry about resources, just have fun playing  Roll Eyes
