Hi, ETzens!
Olympic games are approaching and the team of English Town is ready to defend its home court and collect a big number of medals. Every Olympic player wants to be present the starting day of his/her long awaited event, but life is life and chances are some players won't be in their places when scheduled, specially in such a big team.
As you may know, in those cases the town is fined with
10.000 talers per not presented player. Again, as a big team, we have the risk of adding up a few fines and we can't allow that. Our economy and our honour would suffer. And remember we are the hosting town!
This is a call for
volunteers for an alternate players list which should extend to all events. Players in this list should:
- Have the time of the event available.
- Be present at the start of the event at the same conditions as a player, until every starter arrive.
- Know game rules.

How to identify yourself as a good alternate player:
- You didn't arrive to the signing up process but you want to have a chance to play in the Olympic Games
- You already signed for some events, but you could play others if the town needed it as you would be online.
- You ______ ________... (Fill the gaps)
If you are still reading this and want to sign as an alternate, please have a look at the schedule:
http://privat.ub.uib.no/bubjb/asp/bsw/whoplays.aspConsider also that more alternate players will be needed in more crowded games.
And now that you know what games could you help as a possible substitute, please leave a message in this thread or contact with me (
Redeye). Include any comments or suggestions you find helpful.
Regards,
RedeyePS: Some events may still be open, but signing up now is an individual process, take a look at the next link. Be careful, it is not up to date:
