Hi

I like to officially protest the 3 one-point penalties for the City Liga, and appeal for their removal.

1) No one contacted me about the problem.
2) I didn't even find out about it until today.
3) No one communicated anything to me in English.
4) Since we had already won those matches, the missing games were moot, and we would have gladly forfeited them.
5) 1 point is extreme, since it turns a win into a tie and a tie into a loss.
6) Since we have players all over the world, it's hard to play the matches on the German schedule.
7) Our players need to be contacted in ENGLISH when arranging matches.
The City Liga web site is also in GERMAN, with no English translation, so I can't understand postings there either, official or unofficial.

hm, bin ich verpflichtet, immer alles in englisch zu machen ? OK, für einen TC kann ich es noch verstehen.
Aber darf ich aus meiner Stadt denn jetzt keinen mehr einsetzen, der nicht ausreichend gut englisch kann ?

Thats not true ! As mentioned in the other thread, I send on 3. Nov. an Email to every Teamcaptain, that matches not finished until 21. Nov. will count as loss for both teams.

You should check the league-homepage regulary

I translated the email even to english...If there were any problems why did you not contact anyone ?

A match is won, when the match is finished ! The rules are, that a match not finished in time counts as loss for both teams. You got not 0, but 1 point, because of the situation.

The City Liga web site is also in GERMAN, with no English translation, so I can't understand postings there either, official or unofficial.

We'll try to make a translation, but thats a lot of work...

I also protest the BSW claim of a draw.

We claim a win in the Cant Stop match and a win in the  match overall.

Speedy- is not a member of the town, and I posted that to their city.

They never replaced him, so we claim the victory by forfeit.

I'd like to protest week 16, as well.

Las Vegas didn't respond with opponents in a timely manner, which was the last week of October.

Several of my players complained it was on the schedule for the end of October, and there were no opponents.

So several of them gave up in disgust.

That's why we have such a slow start for the second half.

I care about rules, and I care about fairness.
Would it be fair for all other teams, who really tried to finish their matches, if ET got 2 points, even if they did not play in time or claim the matches...

The're people who say that 1 point is still to much !  

Your protest is noticed, but rejected.

A withdraw from the league is your decision.

The match on week 16 (LV) should have been finished until 21. of november (like could be seen in the "Kalender" )
However, the absolut deadline is 5. of december. I noticed your claim.

I'm only a member of Hollinden not in any comitee of the organisation or anything else.

But I'd like to say a few words to your kind of responding to the fair solution campino found.

If there are any problems you should try to ask friendly before you start complaining about it. You chose to start in this league so you have to accept the rules.

I didn't see any posting from you until now regarding any problems in the city league.

I'm sure campino is available online very often and it wouldn't have been a problem to contact him there instead of bringing no forward arguments in this thread.

I normally don't bring in my thoughts to threads like this but your complainings are only ridiculous to me so I had to write a few lines.

We are discussing about the penalty for a week now in the thread below this one. Maybe you use a program or someone German speaking help you read that discussion.

I mostly agree with your complaints. The problem is that there are rules for this season that are set. Maybe not in the interest of the majority. Therefore, matztias suggested a very good rule which would take the cities not trying to finish their last games until deadline only those two points for each of these last games. That rule will be discussed by the league admins - but only to take place in the upcoming season.
