That page is not accurate on the points and game differential. The overall positions of the teams (at least in our league) is correct.

Pkt is the team score: 2 points for a win, 1 for a tie, and 0 for a loss. We were 9-5-12 so we really scored 23 points, not 22. Diff. is the game differential: games won - games lost (each game is worth 2 points). We won 66 games (132 game points), tied 2 games (0 points), and lost 88 (176 points) so our differential is really -44.

Now why didn't the postmaster just tell me that. I did attach a .zip file so I guess that's the problem. It was my Access database for tracking the league stuff which I sent to both you and Paul. If you want it, let me know how I can send you the file.

As most of you have seen there is an information thread on the city league in the forum of C12-Hollinden. Up to now the information in there concerns the channel-meeting and probly you all know about that, but just in case..
Here are the main facts:

1) short information on the new organisation of the CL

While I don't see a post yet on the games to be picked for the league there is a running vote for a game to be added and removed from the league.

I voted for EG to be added.  It was not on the list, but that didn't stop a lot of people voting for it.  I did not vote for the one removed, but Yinsh had a very strong lead and looks like a winner.

Looks like we swapped Attika and Yinsh for Dvonn and EG.

Of course you can agree to play more or less games with the other player.  I would always make sure everyone agrees on the format before playing.

If someone could traslate the rest, it would be a big help.  I think the league starts on the 21st, but I'm not sure.  At the very least what teams will be in what league will be out.

Figure most of us will get one game per week on average.  Sometimes more\sometimes less depending who\what we are playing.  I haven't seen the full translation of the league rules, but it sounds like the league is focusing more on getting games done on time.  So it will be nice having a bigger pool of people so no one gets dumped on.

It's getting close to time to suit up and get our 'game faces' on.

Add Flöhli to that list. LA and I chatted with her yesterday and she wants to continue in the league.

It's too bad we lost Yinsh since we finally have some people who are decent players, but Dvonn is along the same vein so hopefully we can get a couple people up to speed on it. Esterio's got a nice winning percentage...oh, wait, DQ's a master!    We had two strong Attika players in Esterio and coolala, but EG is a nice addition which we have much better coverage for.

Looks like we have 4 leagues now: 1, 2, 3a, 3b

Quite a change -- 6 teams we've played with before, but 5 new ones. I assume that with the reduction to 12 teams that the season will only be 22 weeks which means each match will be more valuable.

From what I understand, there were a lot of new teams, so they are splitting Liga3 this season, and next season they will have 4 groups.

It's 22 matches, and I'm assuming 2 a week starting 31st October for 6 weeks, then continuing after Christmas.

We will ahve to get our home team picks in by the Tuesday before the listed starting date for a match, and our away picks by Thursday. Then we can start playing. :-)

The schedue will be posted tomorrow (or today, depending on wether or not you're typing at 2am) but I won't be looking at it until the evening, because I will be deciding on who will be playing what games.

Elttil, I will need a list of e-mail addresses for ou team members. It might also be a good idea to e-mail Yordan to add at least 1 of me and Paul to the moderators list, because we will be needing to let everyone else in the city know about how well we are doing.
