I think we shouldn't have too many mods in this forum (we are already at 3). Is there a way for you communicating and updating the results with the 'edit' function LA?

Well, I can edit my posts, but not Paul's posts, that's why I'm suggesting making 1 of us a mod, then the other person creates the thread with all of the schedules and results.

And there are several towns with 5 or more mods on their forums...

Well, when I became mayor and asked to have myself become a moderator, it took 4 months.  

Another option to consider is to not maintain the results in a thread here. I did it last season, but that was mainly because the web page was down for most of the season. I think it would be fine to just post a link to the league web page and everyone can keep up with our results there. We can certainly use this thread or a new one for posting match results "EC wins again!", "Another victory for EC!", that sort of thing. It would be simpler than editing a monster table each week.

If you two (Lardarse and PaulW) feel strongly that you want to maintain our record here, I can request the mod ability, but I think it would be fine to save you the trouble and not do it.

For now, we can just keep the link to the league site.  If the site can't stay up, like last year, then LA and I can figure out some system.

LA and I are scouting our first two victims.  We will post a lineup in the next day or so.

If you are concerned with having too many mods, I see no need for me to be a mod anymore. Elttil and reikja are doing such a great job of running the formum, that I don't need to be a mod anymore.

The drop dead date for week 1 games is Nov 20.  If you have not played the game by that date and the other team has 'proof' that they tried to contact you during that time and you don't have 'proof' that you replied, we will forfit the game.  (and of course vica versa)

Please make sure that if you can't bump into the player online that you either send an e-mail to the player (/info playername will get you the e-mail address if it is listed) or post a message on the other's team board to schedule a time you both can meet.

In general, you always have 3 weeks from the start of the week to play your game.

PS LA, Have fun keeping those tables straight in the other thread.  I don't need mod ability.  LA seems happy to do it and likely has more time, but we will see how it goes.
