Monthly update: 1st January 2006

And now for something completely different...

Yep, this is my first official update, so I should probably do something officially say Happy New Year to everyone!

Of course, every new start bring it's usual selection of problems. My Linux computer has stopped working, so I had to collect the stats manually this month. AMD 0, RSI 1 :-(

Anyway, here goes nothing...

New Munchkins: sylphie joined us on the 11th, so we are are 32 this month. Hi there ;-)

New games: sylphie gave us our second Tichu room in her treehouse at C41-75, and Jocelyn25 rather predictably put Turnit in her cave C41-24

New levels: Just 3 this month
Darknut is now a Count (W13)
Jocelyn25 is now a Dutchess (W15)
Jonty is now a Duke (W15)

Most played games:
1: Tichu was played 586 times this month.
2: Can't Stop can't quite make it to the top with only 180 plays.
3: 167 times was only enough for third place for San Juan.
4: Einfach Genial with 161 plays wasn't able to squeeze past.
5: And Sankt Petersburg noisily makes its way into our top 5, with just 141 plays.
The most played game this month that we don't have was Bluff, which was played 36 times.

SU records: Just the one. SpaceSquirrel reached 1892 in SingleSanktPetersburg, which puts him 4th overall.

Medals: Still waiting for the list to be published. I'll update this when they are.

Awards:
Most New Points: coolala with 4115 new points, making Jocelyn25 miss out on the top spot this month with only 3434.
Largest Percentage Increase: Jocelyn25 with 19.7% new points, PaulW was second with 8.8%
New Level with Fewest Points: Darknut reached his new level with only 557 points.

Statistics:
Total New Points: 19 383
Mean New Points: 605.72
Median New Points: 295

Again, lower than last month, but not unexpected.

Keep up the good work, Munchkins. Lets make 2006 better than 2005!
