If a SchrilleStille "scoring round" (moving the bands up and down) is underway when the server reboots, the game seems to be irretrievably lost (frozen).
We (BaronFrog, ratpfink, Brak55, deitied, and SpaceSquirrel) were playing a SchrilleStille in room C91-16 when the server went down for a reboot around 07:00 server time on Sunday February 4, 2006.
When the reboot happened, all players had placed all their balls and hit the "continue" arrow, and the movement of bands (scoring) was underway. I think the 3rd or 4th band from the bottom was being moved when I lost my connection. That band just kept blinking.
All but 1 of the original players returned after the reboot hoping to finish the game (it was probably the last scoring round as several players had over 60 points). We found a sub, and on joining everyone got balls (I'm not sure if they were the ones we had before the restart or not), but the scoring did not commence. We could drop the balls onto various bands, but never got the "continue" arrows, so there was nothing we could do but /masterreset.
