Hallo ihr Magier!

Die BSWS sind gestartet! Damit wir alle ein wenig verfolgen können, wie es bei den jeweils Anderen läuft, eröffne ich diesen Thread. Bitte postet hier doch fleißig, wie eure Turniere gelaufen sind. Ins Besondere auch die Vorkämpfe, damit ich den Turnierplan entsprechend anpassen kann.

Hiho,

Since I have quite a few qualis to play, I already started out yesterday, so here’s my yesterday’s story :

ParisParis : Defdamesdompi – Yggdrasil : 3 - 4 
Yggdrasil was the one who kicked me out of the semi-finals last year, so I was eager to get some revenge, but unfortunately I could never take a lead : 0-1, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 2-3, 3-3, 3-4.

Can’t Stop : Defdamesdompi – Yggdrasil : 3 - 1
So we got into our next quali match and this time it worked out better. I lost the first one and while Yggdrasil had the better start in the next 2 games, I was able to sneak out 2 ‘from behind’ wins. In what turned out to be the final game I got the better start and I could claim the match playing on safety. This means one more win in 2 matches should normally get me qualified.

Backgammon : Defdamesdompi – kevinffm : 4 - 8
Next up was the ‘to quali or not to quali’ BG match 7 game. I got a great start winning 2 games for a 2-0 lead. Then I accepted a double which I lost on one pip ; 2-2. The next game I I accepted another double which I lost on 2 pips ; 2-4. Then I won another game and apparently lost another doubled one : 3-6. I raised my score by one point thanks to Crawford and then I doubled to possibly get a 6-6 deciding game. But in that game me and my supporter candy witnessed quite a few miracles. While I was in a position of possibly getting a boost 8-6 win, kevin rolled all the right numbers and won the game himself ; 4-8. Which means I’m out and it’s up to ara to get a Midgard BG medal…

ParisParis : Defdamesdompi – BigFerret : 3 - 4
To complete this dreadful day I played another PP against BigFerret who had beaten Yggdrasil by 2-4 already. Since only 2 out of 6 players in our group will proceed, a win against him would have been very valuable. But it turned out differently. 0-1, 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-3, 3-3 with a very close win and then finally it was 59-59 before the last 2 rounds of game 7. Since BF had a double in Odeon and I didn’t have any centre double, these 2 rounds were deadly and now I have to hope that I get 3 big wins against the remaining players and sneak out a second place based on the ‘games won’ tie-breaker.

Funkenschlag : Defdamesdompi - campino : 21-21 (210-211)
Can you believe that ? But this time it wasn't bad luck, it was me. I got lucky during mid game getting the good plantations, but then I started blowing money and in the one but last turn I lost like 15 money on burning the wrong plantation. At least campino won all of his 4 games, so it's up to me now to win the remaining 3 games and get second in the group to qualify..

Funkenschlag : Defdamesdompi - Radin : 20-21
Radin started off very newbie like according to me, but apparently it was vice versa. Although I made a 10 money mistake again in the end, it would not have made a difference in placings. So the next 2 games will be pure for fun it seems =)

Can't Stop : Defdamesdompi - redrun : 3-0
smoothly Quali almost secured

Bazaar : Defdamesdompi - Laura2910 : 40-34
Laura was very unlucky in the start getting lots of purples which were very hard to get rid of. Until I uncovered a 4 purple combination of course =). Then we got into an even score before the last 3 scores of which I made 2 to take the win.

Lost Cities : Defdamesdompi - esther1972 : 4-2
We played quite a few close games at the start and I won the first 2 which I think got me the overall win. I only needed to win this match to get into the real BSWS LC stuff, so I'm successful =)

Paris Paris : Defdamesdompi - Warlordnemesis : 4-1
Luck on my side this time although my opponent made more than one clear mistake. If I go on like this AND Yggdrasil has some bad luck, I stil lhave a small chance...

Hallo!

Tja, auch für mich sind die BSWS nun gestartet. 
Beginnen durfte ich mit einer heissen Tasse Kaffee:

Im klassischen bo3-Modus wurde das erste Spiel fast zu einer Zitterpartie, dank meiner, allgemein bekannten, inningen Liebe zur Bar. Doch dank einiger Fehler meiner Gegnerin, konnte ich noch ein akzeptables 128-97 rausspielen. Das zweite Spiel verlief deutlich klarer zu meinen Gunsten. Dank des netten 'Joker-wechsel-dich-Tricks' endete Dieses klar mit 151 zu 127.

Die zweite Partie des Tages war deutlich kniffliger:
aradia20 - uvo 1-0
Beim fröhlichen Teppichkauf musste ich feststellen, dass man auf dem Bazaar doch reichlich nachdenken muss, um halbwegs gewinnbringend zu handeln.  Bei einem starken Gegner wie uvo war dies in der Tat nicht ganz einfach, so dass die Partie enorm knapp ausgegangen ist: 62-58.

Insgesamt ein solider Start.....so kann es weitergehen!

So, Hallöchen auch von mir!

Ich kann mich momentan ganz um die Vorkämpfe bei ParisParis kümmern und evt. schon das Qualispiel bei LC vorziehen, wie DDD das ja auch schon getan hat.

Gestern hatte ich dann das erste Vorrundenspiel PP gegen PeterMiehle. Er hatte Heimrecht, war auch noch grün (das ist doch meine Farbe sonst ) und ich hatte keinen Ton .
Nachdem ich das erste Spiel trozdem für mich entscheiden konnte (0:1), ging das zweite knapp an Peter (1:1), das dritte ging deutlich an ihn (2:1), dafür das 4. deutlich an mich (2:2), nachdem er dann wieder das 5. Spiel für sich entscheiden konnte (3:2) musste ich also schon um eine Siegchance bangen. Glücklich konnte ich meine defizite auf der Türkisen Route ausgleichen (seine starke türkise Route lief nicht mehr, konnte ihn da etwas verdrängen und stattdessen liefen starke routen von mir), so dass ich noch das 6. Spiel sehr knapp zum (3:3) ausgleichen konnte. *puh*
Ja, dann kam aber die verflixte 7. Runde....DDD kann ja auch ein Lied davon singen. leider endete das Spiel 99-92, so dass nun PeterMiehle mit 4:3 einen Sieg für sich verbuchen kann und meine Chancen schwinden 

allerdings hats trotzdem Spaß gemacht, denn einfach überrennen lass ich mich nich *g*

Mal sehen wie der Rest so läuft...

Mathematics are great...

Paris Paris : Defdamesdompi - Eukalyptus : 4-1
Eukalyptus had the wrong priorities and I wonder how I lost that one game. What seemed like a doomed quali after 2 matches looks again a lot better now. Leaving Raphaell out of focus, I'm in second now with one win more than Yggdrasil, which means if I win by the same score to Raphaell as Yggdrasil does or better, I get the second spot, my ticket to the BSWS... so keep those fingers crossed for me.

Biathlon 9.Platz:

ich kam sah und wurschtelte mich durch. Im Laufen lief es heute eher durchschnittlich, vor allem wenn ich endlich mal ein bischen vom Mittlefeld wegkam. Aber mit einer ordentlichen Schiessleistung (3 Siege) konnte ich mich so um Platz 24 halten. In der letzten RUnde in der Loipe hatte ichdann nochmal Glück und konnte mit 12 Punkten gewinnen, was mich auf den 9. Platz katapultierte.

Let's start with the bad news and end with the good news ...

Paris Paris :

Leaving Raphaell out of focus, I'm in second now with one win more than Yggdrasil, which means if I win by the same score to Raphaell as Yggdrasil does or better, I get the second spot, my ticket to the BSWS... so keep those fingers crossed for me.

The problem is that Raphaell is in focus more than ever ; he beat Yggdrasil and BigFerret badly, which now means I only get my ticket if both me and Warlordnemesis beat him badly, which is almost impossible.

Funkenschlag : Defdamesdompi - Polli : 17-18
A fun game full of mistakes on my part again. I'm definately out of Funkenschlag now with 0 wins in 3 matches.

Routenplaner : Defdamesdompi 11th. in 34
This was the most exciting qualification up to now. Since the field will be reduced from 65 to 32 (in 2 sessions), about 17 of the 34 were sure to be qualified. In 10 games, this means those who get 5 wins and a good Buchholz or more wins. I started off with a giveaway to sandokan in TuT. Somehow I did not see that Basel gave me the colour bonus in my last move, so I opted for the purple bonus. Instead of winning 21-19, it was a 20-17 loss. Well, no problem, I'll make it up in Paris Paris next game... No way : no luck, 2 losses in a row. Afterwards it went on like that : I was good in TuT (paying more attention now), but lost the Paris Paris games. So after 6 games I only had 2 wins and a very bad Buchholz. So I said to my last Paris Paris opponent Sir_Alex I had to win the next 4 games. He told me jokingly this had to be no problem for me. And that's what I did to my own surprise !

Last qualification game which got me the first position in my group with a 9-2 total score. I hope I can repeat these things when it's for real.

Defdamesdompi - Mew2 : 30-27
Very though game with 3 types of gems that were hard to get rid of while the other 2 were mostly needed to score. It was more a game of reducing your number of gems in hand than actually aiming for the combinations.
One more Bazaar win in 2 games (against ara ?  ) and I'm sure of my quali

Nach einer harten, mehrstündigen, stets am seidenden Faden hängenden Quali, mehreren Litern Aufputsch-Cola habe ich das Siedler-Finale erreicht...
 
Ich wollte doch auch mal so einen ergreifenden Bericht wie DDD beginnen...

Nun ja, leider lief es bei der Siedler-Quali mal wieder wie üblich - viel Lärm um Nix . Von den 86 zur Quali für die 64 Finalplätze gemeldeten Teilnehmern, waren am Ende gerade mal so 50 anwesend  . Damit waren wir alle weiter und das Hauptfeld zum Finale schrumpft wohl auch ein wenig.
