As the month winds down, I'm going to try to make a big push for the medal (seeing as I have no idea how close I am to getting it).  I had the idea of doing a match to 50, where anyone from EC can stop in for one or more games.  All I have to do is make sure no one resets it.  I'm calling it Bromios vs. Emerald City (creative, I know) and I hope as many of you as possible are up for a few more games of Backgammon.

For those who are interested in forming a "Gold Club", I scanned the medal list for June to see which games might make easy candidates for medals.  Here's what I came up with.

Game      Gold     Silver     Bronze
---------------------------------------
Attika       4         3          3
BohnDuell   18        14         13
Dudeln      23        20         16
Dvonn       13        12         11
FinstereFl  10         3          3
Go          13        12         10
Manitou     14        10          7
Niagra      24         7          1
StreetSoc    8         7          5
Yinsh        3         2          2

It looks like if we get a half a dozen people together and play a round-robin style series of Yinsh or Attika, we could probably walk away with a few medals under our collective belts.  FinstereFluere might yield a few medals this was too.

I'm going to go for a Yinsh medal, and hereby challenge the entire city to a game of Yinsh (one at a time please).  Ironically, you'll probably all beat me, but maybe one of you folks can win a medal then. :-)
