Bloom Kingdom is a strategic card game for 2 to 5 people aged 8 and over. You place character cards in a common display in several rounds. The goal is to achieve the most victory points by playing and collecting cards in three passes. At the end of each passage, only the two cards you still have on your hand.
100 character cards (10 different characters, 10 times each)
Half of the cards show a sound effect below the character.
This is done at the moment the card is placed in the display on the table.
You can find these above the characters.
They specify the order in which the sound effects enter into force.
First, all cards are placed in the output without initiative (i.e. without number), then all of their printed number follow after rising (the highest initiative last).
All cards at the bottom show how they are valued at the end of a passage.
Each player receives 6 hand cards (8 cards for 2 players)
The remaining cards form a train pile.
The game consists of three passes with several rounds:
Cards with initiative are placed in ascending order.
Instant effects are performed immediately.
The two remaining hand cards are valued and achieve winning points.
Each character card has its own terms and conditions relating to the display (e.g. points for sets, majorities or certain combinations).
Example: For each dragon in the display there are 4 points, for each set of queen and king 3 points etc.
Hofnarren count as a joker for the respective column.
Example of a rating:
A player has a dragon and a king as an ad card.
There are two dragons and two kings in the exhibition.
The player gets 2 x 4 = 8 points for the dragon.
For the king he only gets points if no player has a court fool as a valuation card.
Then the next pass starts with 6, or 8 hand cards. All cards remain in the display.
The game ends after the third pass. He who has the most winning points overall wins. In the event of a tie, the parties share the victory.
