Dizzle

Het spel

Each player places dice on fields with the same number on his hand and marks them with a cross at the end of the round. This way you collect more and more crosses as the game progresses. Some crosses enable special actions or bring special points at the end of the game. Whoever has the most points at the end wins!

This is just a short summary of the rules and instructions on how to use it.

The complete rules from Schmidt Spiele (PDF) can be found here.

Place dice

Spielablauf

The players each take turns choosing one dice and placing it on a valid field. The active player, marked by a star, chooses a green marked field on his playing field and places a suitable die from the display.

Mögliche Felder

If you have not yet placed a die on your field, you choose a field adjacent to an already existing "X". If you have already placed at least one dice, all other dice must be placed adjacent to it. (If there are no more free spaces, existing crosses can be placed again)

All possible fields are always displayed in accordance with the rules. (Fields that would be possible but for which there is no suitable die in the display are only faintly marked.)

No options

Reroll

If, when it's your turn, you don't have a die in your display that allows a valid move (only brightly marked fields), you have to pass and thus get out of the current turn Eliminate round. Or you can use the option of “re-rolling the dice”.

If you choose to re-roll the dice, all dice in the display are re-rolled and, if this is now possible, you can immediately place a now valid die. However, if it is still not possible to place a die due to re-rolling the dice, you are now forced to remove a die that has already been placed on the playing field.

Einde van de ronde

The rounds are played in this way until all players except one have passed. This last remaining player then has ONE more turn in which he can place a die. Of course, he can also pass or, if no dice fit, roll again.
