At each turn, take the following steps:

  1. You're pulling a merchant out of your bag.
  2. This merchant is at one of the gates or at the well; you then execute the actions that are possible in the respective place (see the following sections “Tor Actions” and “Brunn Actions”).
  3. Then select any merchant from the well and place it in your bag. That's the end of your move.
  4. If identical-colored merchants are in the gate fields, they are pushed together into the well area.

Create a merchant at one of the four goal fields:

  1. A resource in the color of the noble gate.
  2. Resources in the colors of merchants at the gate. A resource for each merchant.

In addition, all resource bonuses are paid out from your country.

The golden lydical merchant

If you set a lyd merchant to a gate or if you already find one, you may also exchange the resources in the color of the gate for coins.

You can only have as many countries as you have on your influencing bar. (3 / 5 / 8 / 9 and more)

Fountain field

If you send your merchant to the fountain field in the middle of the schedule, you can purchase new lands (2) or upgrade your own lands (4).

To purchase or upgrade a country, you must be able to pay the costs of resources (usually 3 resources or money) in the upper part of the card.

  1. You can purchase as many countries as you like, but they all have to come from one of the 4 areas.
  2. You can always upgrade as many of your canals in your possession as you like and can afford.

Coins always count as a joker for any resource.

Influence bar and bonuses

Bonus

Whenever one of your resources reaches the value 6, you will immediately receive a bonus and you may choose either:

  1. Increase your influence on the influencing bar. (In order to be able to own more countries, to receive money and win points.

The game ends when a player or a player has reached the required number of upgraded countries and all other players have performed a final game.

The player who first reached the required number of upgraded lands receives the fountain bonus that is worth one point at the end of the game.

Additional modules

Currently, three additional modules of the game are implemented and can be activated via the options.

Croesus - King Krösus

If you put a merchant to the gate where the king is located, you can immediately take an additional resource from the color of the gate. After that, you will leave King Krösus to another gate of your choice.

Courtyards - courtyards

At the beginning of your move, after you have pulled a merchant out of your bag, you can play instead of the pulled your inner courtyard baptist. The merchant from the bag is placed on your empty courtyard plate and can be used in a later play. By doing this, you have a reserve buyer in your courtyard, which you can use instead of the pulled merchant.

Guild - Handicraft yellow

To put a craftsman to a gate, you choose a merchant you “copy”. Now execute the actions as usual as if your craftsman had the same color as the merchant you copied (including the profit of all resources and card bonuses.
