This is not the game instructions for the game Marco Polo. The game instructions can be read on the following page: https://www.hans-im-glueck.de/spiele/marco-polo.html
Here we just explain them to you Operation of the online game.
The screen is divided into several areas. In the middle is the game board (3), which can be scrolled up and down. Either with the mouse or with your finger, depending on whether the game is played on a PC or a mobile device. On the right side is the player display (1).
The control bar is located at the bottom of the screen. Your own dice are displayed here (2), which are available for actions. To carry out an action, you select one or more dice.
The possible places for actions with this/these dice are shown in green on the playing field.
If there are several ways to use the action, a selection menu appears at the bottom left of the screen. In some cases there are several selection menus next to each other. The selection made is confirmed with the green tick; a selection that has been made can be canceled with the cross. This bar also contains your own orders (4).
Each player has one traveler (5) available; they are located in Venezia at the start of the game .
Two characters are exceptions here:
Niccolo and Marco Polo (yes, that makes you a little schizophrenic), Logically, the player has two travelers available here. Before moving, the player must select the traveler with whom he would like to travel. To do this, click on the traveler and then carry out the movement.
Kubilai Khan: This player's traveler begins the journey in Beijing, where the player also gets a trading post at the beginning.
Can be done at any time during a turn a player performs additional actions; the possible additional actions are also displayed in the control bar. Additional actions that relate to an action die (re-roll the dice, increase/decrease the number of points and take money) are displayed as soon as an action die is activated.
The additional action “1 black Take dice” is always displayed when it is possible. In addition, one or more orders (4) can be fulfilled at any time during your turn. To do this, click on them and confirm this with the green tick.
Each one can be clicked on, then you can see, in addition to the always visible raw materials (4) of this player, his character with the respective special function (1), the number of his remaining trading posts, as well as the number of orders already fulfilled (2) and the orders currently to be fulfilled (3). The dice that a player still has available for actions are also displayed here.
To end the turn, click on the Marco Polo with the arrow in the control bar.
A gong acoustically announces your own move.
After 5 rounds the game ends and the final score appears at the bottom of the screen. If necessary, you just have to decide who the biggest camel is.
