Origo FAQ

FAQs about Origo:

Why can't I use a shield at the beginning, even though I haven't used all yet?

Were the setting rules (max. four shields in large countries, max. 2 in small ones) observed?

Does an attack also count the first laid card to combat value?

Yeah.

What happens when the second and third evaluation fields are exposed within a round?

At the end of this round, the second master evaluation is then carried out first. A further round and thus last round follows, at the end of which the third tribal evaluation follows.

What happens if there are more than two players in a score?

If, for example, three players place 1, they will receive the points for second place. The next rated place would then be the fourth place in this case.

Why does it kill if I want to attack a field?

Only fields in already established countries may be attacked.

Does an established country have to be complete to carry out an attack?

No, the country only has to be founded; it no longer has to be completely occupied.

Can you walk with a sign you sailed with?

Yes, and vice versa.

Can I vary and split my actions?

Yes, you can sail for example with a ship, then spread out once, hike, sail again, spread again, etc.

Why do I get a message when all players fit that the game is not entered in the database?

In order to exclude meta-technical manipulations, games are only valued for the meta-game (taler, raw materials, quota) if either at least seven country foundations have taken place or a fixed time limit has not been exceeded. This is not an intervention in the possibilities of the game, as there are always possibilities in the game so early to perform meaningful trains and score points.
