This is not an entire overview of the cards. When some functions of the cards are very obvious, only some examples will be given.
Resource cards produce the displayed resource(s). Example cards: one wood, stone or brick, two ore.
Manufactured Goods cards produce the displayed goods. Example cards: Fabric, glass, Papyrus.
Civilian Structures instantly award the displayed victory points.
Military Structures provide shields for the conflict at the end of the ages.
The symbols on the cards count in the Final Scoring.
A victory point for every card of the suitable color in both neighboring towns.
A victory point for every brown, gray and purple card the player has.
A victory point for every defeat marker in both neighboring towns.
A victory point for every built Wonder of the World step in own town and both neighboring towns.
When played the player receives one of the research symbols. This happens automatically.
With the trading posts a player can buy raw materials from the left or right neighbor for the price of 1 coin instead of 2. With the market, a player can buy from both neighbors for the price of 1 coin instead of 2.
With forum or caravansery a player can produce one of the displayed raw materials/goods per round. p>
With bazaar/vinyard a player receives one/two coins at the end of the round for each gray/brown cards in the player's own town and both neighboring towns.
Instantly one/two coin(s) for each brown/yellow/gray cards in the player's own town. At gameend it rewards each brown/yellow/grey cards in the player's own town with one/two victory point(s).
Instantly three coins and at gameend one victory point for each World Wonder step built in a player's own town.
