How to play

Solo cubes are a nice little cube game that can be played well for bridging if you are waiting for fellow players. It has a certain similarity with Can't Stop, even here you have to make pairs, but there are clear differences.

Bild 6

You dice with five cubes, two pairs being formed from four of the cubes. The fifth cube is always a strike result. For each pair opened, there are only minus points that can be compensated by collecting many equal pairs. The aim is to collect as many points as possible.

If one of the numbers on the right has eight lines, the game is over.

The following rules limit the selection:

  • To the left, as many as eleven possible pairs can be opened.
  • Legal rights three This is the case in the United Kingdom. In other words, three numbers are open to the right, one must always leave one of these numbers. If one does not have one of the three open numbers on the right under the five cubes, then one can leave any cube outside, this one is noted under F as freelance. The number of free cubes is unlimited.

Allocation of Points

You get points through the couples and minus points by opening pairs.

  • Starting a new pair costs 200 points each time.
  • If you throw a pair 5 times then you get 200 points back.
  • For Sixth to tenth time you the roll this pair you get the basic value of this pair.
  • Collecting the same pair greater than 10 times is allowable but bring no bonus.

The basic values:

You start the game by clicking on the Game Over font.

Now you have five cubes from which you have to make two pairs. For this purpose, you click on the left side next to the corresponding number(s) which is formed from the sum of two cubes each. The fifth cube is always a strike result and is automatically entered on the right side. As long as you have not confirmed your selection, you can re-set the lines at any time. If you are satisfied with the result, click on the dice above. This takes over the selected result and it is redesigned.

Here in the image 5+3=8 and 6+6=12 were selected. The one becomes the strike result. For the two starting pairs 8 + 12 there are therefore 200 + 200 minus points that are displayed as soon as the selection has been confirmed.

Bild 5

Here is the next step. The previous selection was confirmed and redesigned. The -400 points from the previous throw are still displayed, as the momentary throw is not yet confirmed.

Here, 6 (4 + 2, 3 + 3) was selected twice and 5 was made to strike. This opened a third pair, which results in a score of -600 after confirming.

Bild 6

After some further litters, five pairs, as well as the maximum possible three numbers are open to the right.

For five opened couples there have been -1000 points. The 12 already has five lines, so that it returned the -200 points, which explains the current stand of -800.

Bild 9

There are no numbers on the right (no 1, 2 or 5). Therefore, any remaining cube is identified as F (release).

Here we have six opened pairs, i.e. -1200 points. Three (5, 6, 12) have already five or more lines (the 8 is not yet confirmed), i.e. -1200 + 600 = -600. In addition, the points of the pairs with more than five strokes come:

2 x 5 (basic value 50) = 100 points
1 x 12 (basic value 100) = 100 points (the seventh line at 12 is not yet confirmed!)
3 x 6 (basic value 40) = 120 points

Summa summarum -600 + 320 = 280

Bild 7

Here either a 1 or a 5 must be selected as a strike result. Unfortunately, you have to open a new pair. No matter what strike result you choose, it is the eighth and thus ends the game after this throw.

Bild 8

After confirming the last throw, the game ends and the player gets 480 points for it. These are as follows:

  • An opened pair (4) has not yet reached five lines => -200 points.
  • The five series (basic value 50) has two pointing lines => 50 x 2 = 100 points.
  • The six series (basic value 40) has five pointing lines => 40 x 5 = 200 points.
  • The eighth series (basic value 40) has three pointing lines => 40 x 3 = 120 points.
  • The ten series (basic value 60) has a pointing line => 60 x 1 = 60 points.
  • The Twelfth series (basic value 100) has two pointing lines => 100 x 2 = 200 points.
