Surfosaurus MAX is played with cards in seven colors, with values from 01 to 12 (and points from 12 to 2).
A high card value means few points and vice versa.
When you're on the train, you play a card and move on right now.
If the right number of cards is in place, the best possible card combo on the table can be made from all cards of all players.
If you could also contribute a card to this combo, you will get points according to the point value of your card (s) involved.
Depending on the number of players, a part of the 84 cards is removed before the start.
2 players 24 cards
3 players 12 cards
4 players 0 cards
5 players 4 cards
6 players 0 cards
At the beginning all 7 hand cards are received.
When you're on the train, play 1 hand card open in front of you and immediately follow up a new one.
Then the next player is on the move.
Play on until each player has played the right number of surfosaurus cards.
2 to 3 players: Each player plays 3 cards.
4 to 6 players: Each player plays 2 cards.
The strongest possible combo (from all outstanding cards) wins the right number of cards.
2 to 4 players: The best 4-card combo wins.
5 to 6 players: The best 5-card combo wins.
Anyone who has contributed one or more cards to the strongest combo will receive the point value of this card (s) and place it under its corresponding coconut (half or whole).
strongest (1) to weakest (5)
1) Single-coloured street (straight flush)
2) Same value (4 / 5 of a child)
3) Same color (flush)
4) Street
5) Highest (high cards)
Example:
As far as possible, all the equations in favour of the card or cards are dissolved with the higher value.
Esempio:
Condenses within a combo between cards of the same value are not dissolving. (Very rare: Two one-color streets (1) or two same-color combo (3) with exactly the same values are also indissoluble equations.)
Cards in an indissoluble balance only bring half points.
Esempio:
Selected surfosaurus cards that bring whole points are collected under the whole coconut. Cards that are worth only half a point (because of an indissoluble balance) are collected under your half-coconut.
All played cards that were not part of the strongest combo are removed from the game.
Then you all play with the hand cards you already have. The starting player changes clockwise.
The game ends after each one was the right number of rounds starting players.
2 players: Each starts 3 rounds.
3 to 4 players: each starts 2 rounds.
5 to 6 players: each starts 1 round.
Who has the most points wins. In the case of a tie, the player involved in the tie, who has collected more cards under his coconuts, wins.
In the case of a new tie, all players involved in this win
In the game of two, 1 random surfosaurus card is exposed from the post-match pile after you both played your first card.
Just after you both played your second card (but not after the third).
These 2 additional cards are treated as if they were played by a third player when the strongest possible combo is determined at the end of the round.
Both random cards are then removed from the game, whether they were part of the strongest combo or not.
