Object of the Game

It's almost Christmas and the elves don't have all the presents together yet.

That's why they meet on a wintery day to compete for the most gifts.

Who will be the first elf to collect a certain number of gifts?

Or maybe you're just very lucky and can decide the victory for yourself.

So off to the Secret Santa workshop and get to the presents.

Game Material

  1. With 2 players: 6 dice each in 3 colors, 26 simple gifts, 13 valuable gifts and 6 lucky gifts.
  2. With 3 players: 8 dice each in 3 colors, 26 simple gifts, 13 valuable gifts and 8 lucky gifts
  3. For 4 players: 9 dice each in 3 colors. 26 simple gifts, 13 valuable gifts and 9 lucky gifts

Flow of the game

On your turn you have 2 possible actions:

Effects of the dice

You take Take up to 4 dice of a color of your choice and roll exactly 1x.

Then you select ALL dice with a value and place them on your board according to the following rules

  1. only dice with an identical value may be placed per roll.
  2. each dice must be placed in the Row with the color shown
  3. the dice are always placed from left to right without gaps
  4. the values ​​of the dice placed must always be higher than the dice already on display
Stealing

Whenever you place dice on your board, you may steal a completely identical die (color & number) from any other player.

This only works if the cube is on the far right in the row.

You can only steal 1 dice from each player per turn, even if there are several dice with the same value in the row.

You add stolen dice to the other selected dice in your own row.

Tough luck:

It can happen that you cannot put down a dice in your roll because no value is higher than the dice already on display Color. In this case you have to put down ALL the dice of the color you rolled and you also have to put down all the other dice that are to the right of the white line on your board.

Then you are out of luck!

Bonus fields:

When you place a die on a bonus field , you will immediately receive the respective one Bonus promotion. If you can occupy two bonus spaces by rolling a dice and, if necessary, by stealing, you can carry out the bonus actions in any order.

You After your turn ends, you have an extra turn. So you can roll the dice again – even with a different dice color – or “value” (see below).

You immediately take 1 or 2 gifts from the general supply in the middle of the table.

You may immediately steal 1 face-down gift from a player of your choice. If no player has a gift, you take 1 gift from the middle of the table.

You may immediately steal 1 face-down gift from each player.

Evaluation

Instead of rolling the dice, you can also evaluate.

For each completely filled column, under which 1 gift is shown is, you get a gift from the supply and

For every cube that is to the right of the white line, you also get a gift from the supply.

Then all dice are discarded.

End of the Game

The game ends as soon as a player has either collected 4 lucky gifts or, depending on the number of players,

If there are 4 players = gifts worth 12

With 3 players = gifts worth 16

With 2 players = gifts worth 20
