Gaming commands

These commands can also be found under the Game Wizard.

How do I start a game?

/join
This command lets you join a game. IF you want to join a game which has already started or re-join a game you can add the position number after the join command. When this happens, the other players in the game must either /accept and/or /refuse. You can also call this command from the Game Wizard.
/start
This command is used to start a game after all participants have joined it. You can also call this command from the Game Wizard.
/startnosave
This command is used to start a game after all participants have joined it, however, it will not be recorded i the games stats table (useful for practising and testing).
/option ...
Use this command to start the game with different options. This command has to be executed before you enter /start. Options are game-specific, so please refer to the corresponding rule pages for details.
Example: /option fluss for adding the river expansion with Carcassonne.
You can see all the available options by using the Game Wizard.

General game options:

/option invisible
This option makes the game unseen fom the Game Manager.
/option drawseat
This option positions all players in random positions at the start of the game. The starting player is always determined randomly (with or without drawseat)!
/option host
This option gives the first person who "joined" control over all options for that game. This player only can "/gameyell"
/option start X
With this option, the starting player is player number X.
/spielinfo
Lists current information about the game.
/option result CHANNEL1[,CHANNEL2,...,CHANNELX]
This optiontransfers the results of the game into the channel(s) indicated.

Außerdem gibt es zu vielen Spielen noch spielspezifische Optionen, die in der Spielanleitung der jeweiligen Spiele näher erklärt werden.

How do I deal with problems during the game?

/reset
Use this to reset the game ready for the next game. You can also select this from the Game Wizard.
/remove NAME
This command removes a fellow player from your game. This must be entered on the command line. This is useful, if a fellow player vanishes, but his name is still shown in the game position, denying anyone else the posssibility of re-joining.
Please read the information about proper use of commands.
/accept
This command is used when someone requests to rejoin a game after losing a connection, or if an alternative player wishes to join your game. This can occur, if someone loses connection and wants to return to the game, or another player wants to substitute someone, who has left and not returned. The majority of the experience points of all players currently in the game decides whether to "accept" or "refuse". You can also call this command from the Game Wizard with the "yes"/"no" buttons.
/refuse
This command is used when someone requests to rejoin a game after losing a connection, or if an alternative player wishes to join your game. This can occur, if someone loses connection and wants to return to the game, or another player wants to substitute someone, who has left and not returned. The majority of the experience points of all players currently in the game decides whether to "accept" or "refuse". You can also call this command from the Game Wizard with the "yes"/"no" buttons.
/masterreset
You try to reset a game in progress. Again, players vote to accept or refuse it. This command is available only to users of rank Geselle(W5/K5) and above.
/savegame [id] [comment]
proposes to save a running game (only from rank W/K5). The other players can choose with /accept and /refuse. There has to be a unanimous decision.
If the id isn't specified, one of the 5 free spaces is used, if available. You can overwrite an existing game by specifying its id.
If a comment is entered, it will be listed in the list of saved games (cf. /loadgame).
Saved games are deleted when they are loaded or automatically after 30 days.
/loadgame [id]
loads a game previously saved with /savegame. You have to be in a respective game room. All players who played in that game and are present in the same room are automatically placed in their former places.
If no id is specified, all saved games are listed.

When watching a game how can I look at someones cards?

/peek x
You try to peek into the cards of the player on position x. Very useful for teaching games.
Requirement: One of the two players involved must have at least rank K6/W6.
/allowpeek yes|no
If someone tries to peek into your cards, you must accept it before the attempt is successful. You can disallow it again later.
