The best and most successful game of the past 10 years istly Settlers! The game, with all its variations and extensions, triggered a boom on the german and later the worldwide board game market in 1995 which can still be seen today. So it was the first game in this world.

Every player tries to reach the 10 points which are required to win the game. Basically this is done by constructing villages and cities. The more settlements a player has the more resources he will receive. These resources are necessarey to build more settlements. A very important component of the game is trading with other players. This means that all players are busy all the time even if it is not their turn.
